Becoming a Leader in the Global NIC Industry

The “Belt and Road Initiative", is a development strategy and framework, that focuses on connectivity and cooperation among countries primarily between China and the rest of Eurasia, which consists of two main components, the land-based "Silk Road Economic Belt" (SREB) and oceangoing "Maritime Silk Road" (MSR). The strategy underlines China's push to take a bigger role in Sino-foreign cooperation in production. This serves as the main impetus to bringing CFLD and its expertise to the rest of the world.

Establishing the CFLD International headquarters is a major breakthrough in the company's global strategy. As a major international financial and business center, Singapore is a crucial focal point and international transport hub in the "Maritime Silk Road" strategy. By setting up its international headquarters in Singapore, CFLD is in the ideal position to showcase its products and services on a global stage.

According to His Excellency, Chen Xiaodong, Chinese Ambassador to Singapore, it is about forging closer ties with Singapore. "CFLD International in Singapore is another big event in Sino-Singapore cooperation. This will help CFLD build better joint venture initiatives for Chinese enterprises, promote the “Made in China” brand, and to become a leader in the global NIC industry.” At the opening ceremony of CFLD International, he also expressed that he hoped CFLD International could actively contribute to the enhanced cooperation and contact among enterprises of the two countries and the development of Sino-Singapore industrial cooperation and economic and trade relations.

Promoting Regional Economic and Industrial Development

Since the second half of 2015, CFLD has responded to "the Belt and Road Initiative" and the "international cooperation in production capacity" strategies with great enthusiasm. In essence, CFLD will accelerate exports of equipment and cooperation with other countries in a bid to boost the nation’s economic upgrading and nurture new initiatives through further project opportunities.

Since the start of 2016, CFLD has set up resident offices in Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, the United States, Singapore, Egypt and other countries and has signed strategic cooperation agreements with Haryana, India and BKPM Indonesia respectively to build the benchmarks for NICs.

By investing in and operating NICs worldwide, CFLD can play to its advantages, by providing integrated resources, packaged solutions for infrastructure projects and public facilities and building an industrial platform ecosystem to promote international cooperation in production capacity.

This is just the beginning. "In the future, CFLD will develop the NIC business mainly in Southeast Asia and South Asia while taking account of Africa, America, Central and Eastern Europe and other areas," said Zhao Hongjing, President of CFLD International. "We are confident we are able to face and overcome the future challenges of regional economies and global industrial developments by working together with global partners in creating a better future together," he added.
